YOU TREAT ME JUST LIKE ANOTHER
stranger, well its nice to meet you sir. i guess i'll go.
[/blockquote][/blockquote]"So I guess this means I'll have to introduce myself. Such a pain in my arse. I'll just start with the basics. Name's Persephone Korrie Moore. Please do not give me any nicknames unless you enjoy being hexed. If that's the case then go right ahead. Otherwise it's Persephone. I'm fifteen and a fifth year obviously. 'Cause I'm not stupid enough to be held back. I'm in Ravenclaw which I don't really get. I mean I'm pretty damn smart but I'm not really a nerd like a lot of the other people in this house. They're nice people just a bit stuffy. Okay a lot of them are really stuffy. Which makes me a pretty terrible example of a Ravenclaw. I'm the messy, crazy, all over the place wild child. So I don't really fit in with my house. Which is why I hang out with people from other houses a lot.
I don't really care about houses. If you're a decent person I'll hang with you. Even if you're a not so decent person I might but I'll probably be under the influence of something. My mum wishes I was more like a typical Ravenclaw. Yeah I have mum,Hannah Moore, she owns a clothing line just for witches and wizards. My dad, Zachary Moore, died five years ago in a broom accident. We were pretty close I guess. They're both magic which makes me a pureblood. Don't worry I won't get all pureblood-y on you and look down on you if you aren't. That's just silly. Anyhoo moving on. I only got one sibling, Lysa Moore. She's five and she's about the most badass five year-old ever. Well most of the time. Sometimes she's just as bad as normal five year-old's.
We end up hanging out a lot when I'm home. My mom's always busy with her work. So it's just me and Lysa and whoever the current nanny is. Gets kind of lonely and boring though. That's why I tend to party a lot I guess. Gives me something to do during the summer. I feel a bit guilty though, leaving Lysa alone with the nanny. She's usually fast asleep when I leave though. She's a cute sleeper, really adorable. I can spend hours watchhing her sleep. Wow that sounds creepier than I meant it to. I'm kind of her second mother though. Since mum is gone all the time. But you didn't really want to hear about my sister did you? You wanted to hear about me. Um...I really don't know what to say.
I'm about five foot two which is pretty short and a pain. I can't ever reach the top shelf, and I usually need what's on the top shelf. I have reddish-brown hair that's about shoulder length and always in a curly-frizzy mess. I've given up caring about it though. Just not worth my time and effort. Pisses my mom off though. She wants me to look all nice and done up. Mostly just cause I'm nearly always in clothes she's designed. I'm like her walking advertisement. Whatever what I look like isn't that interesting, except that I think I look more innocent than I really am. I've been told that I could get out of anything with a smile. A skill that comes in handy since I'm always getting in trouble. You might as well know that, 'cause if you hang with me you'll get in trouble too.
It's always fun trouble though. Like racing down corridors, playing pranks, drunken party games. That sort of stuff. Nothing malicious of course. I'm not a mean person, and I don't hang around mean people. Well alright I'm pretty sarcastic and I can be mean if your mean to me or a friend of mine or anyone who I think is a decent person. But I'm not just randomly mean to be mean. That's a ridiculous waste of time in my opinion. There are much more entertaining things to do with your time. Like shopping or reading or doing musical things or doing things with boys. Ah boys silly little things but fun to mess around with. I don't sleep around though. I just like to flirt, but having a steady boyfriend is what I would really like. Hard to find though. Well that's me in a nutshell. I'm not that interesting. Thanks for your time. It was nice talking to you."

and then you try and hold my handThe rain fell in sheets, soaking anything and anyone that was outside. Today that included Persia Stanton. Sure it was silly to be outside in the middle of a rainstorm but she was a silly girl so it worked quite well. Sure her clothes and hair were now sticking to her, but she didn't mind it was just rain and rain was wonderful. It was relaxing like being in a giant shower outside with nature. In other words: perfect. At this point she had given up biking and was walking instead. With the rain she could barely see. Of course that also meant she had no clue where she was. She was just going to bike around town and now she was in what seemed like the middle of no where. It was just some big empty field. Now what was she going to do? Well she was a little tired and fields were nice. Maybe she'd stay there until the rain let up and she could go home. Besides then she could dance around in the rain a little. That was always fun.
Spinning around she turned her face towards the sky letting the rain wash her face. It was a lovely feeling. She laughed to herself and plopped down on the grass. This field was wonderful. Persia was just wandering when she stumbled on it. It was even better than the park, it was bigger and emptier. Absolutely no one was there, and she doubted anyone would be for awhile. It was pretty far away from town and school. She was really glad she had biked otherwise the walk back would kill her. Well maybe not but it wouldn't be very much fun. Especially if the rain didn't let up. Kicking her shoes off she sighed happily. Besides the rain it was a beautiful day. It wasn't that cold out which was good because of her habit of not dressing warm enough. Today though she was fine without a jacket or tights. Oh she was so so happy. For no other reason than she got a chance to frolic in the rain.
She was the type of person who didn't need much to find happiness. Whether it was a chance to relax in a rainstorm or finding a flower growing in a sidewalk crack. Those were the sort of things that made her just glow with happiness. Well and seeing Kade of course. That is when he wasn't covered in blood of some sort or in bruises and cuts from his dad. Then Persia wasn't so happy to see him. Or at least not like that. The rain kept coming down and she closed her eyes and let it. She didn't want to think about Kade's dad and the drama and danger he brought. She didn't really want to think about anything. She just wanted to relax. Taking a deep breath and tried to focus on just the rain and nothing else nothing else at all. Just rain and the sound of it and the feel of it and the smell of yet. It smelled so fresh and clean. Always a nice smell to relax by. In fact it was just what she needed.
Now those were much better thoughts. Much much better thoughts. With another happy sigh she rested her hands behind her head and opened one eye. As soon as she did a big fat raindrop fell right in it. Alright so that was a bad idea. Blinking a couple times to get the water she sat up. That way she could at least open her eyes without them being attacked by rainwater. Just the rest of her would be. Though Persia doubted it would make much of a difference at this point. Her hair and clothes were basically plastered to her face and body. Picking up a couple strands of hair she twisted them into a small braid and then untwisted them. It was a shame she hadn't brought a hair tie, at least then her hair would be out of her face. Without one all she could do was push it past her ears and get it away from her cheeks. As for her neck she had no way to fix that.
